Product Description
For a remote control that has so many buttons and functions, the Kameleon Generation III with aluminium housing is very easy to use. The illuminated display combines the graphic flexibility of a touch screen with the feel and response of a traditional remote control. Thanks to the active sensor screen, the remote control is only activated when it is touched. The touch panel only shows the buttons that are needed. To ease the control of the remote all important buttons are arranged separately in the middle. There are many areas where you can use this remote and it allows you to control almost every infrared-controlled device like LCD or plasma TVs, beamers, all kinds of Set-Top-Boxes, DVD players/recorders, amplifiers/tuners or your home cinema system. Due to the learning and macro function you can adjust the remote to your own needs. The remote stays always up to date due to the update function via the phone or internet.

Absolute perfection! This bad boy has now replaced my button filled plastic nightmare of having 4 remotes to use just to watch tv. Its very easy to set up with the codes, if you cant fnd your code you can just call the guys up at One For All and after a short phone upgrade you're ready to roll. You can always use the learned function if you have a spare 30 minutes (it will only "learn" about 25 functions this way sadly, but as i only needed to use "learn" for one device this was fine).
The remote itself feels nice and solid with its metal body & great display, the brightness of the display can be altered to your needs and the remote will automatically light up when you pick it up and make contact with the body and thumb sized metal pad on the base, very smart!
So far my Kameleon is controlling my TV, Digital set top box, stereo system AND Xbox 360 DVD/Media centre, all of which can be turned on with one push of the power button!
I still have a free device key on the remote for another gadget too.
All in all, a great value bit of kit, excellent build quality, cool design and very easy to use. All from a well known brand!

Bought the Kameleon 8305 at a great price (as usual) from Amazon. However, the 8305 was complicated to set up for my TV etc. Had to download soundfile for my Sony BDPS360 BluRay and Digihome DTR160. After a couple of attempts they were both added to the data on the Kameleon and after somehow losing control of the BluRay a couple of times, things now seem okay. The whole set up took far too long and I hope things will be okay from now on. The customer support was fine so no complaints really, apart from the first e-mail from OnForAll being very long, but did provide key information that helped me out. Their website is not very friendly as it does not explain upfront how to get to the download page for updating your Kameleon. By the way they do not have any codes for Digihome, so much for their guarantee about supporting all products, got to say their code 2034 for Digihome DTR160 is working fine. Just need to point the remote directly at the unit you want to control. The code 1516 also works fine for the Sony BluRay BDPS360. Good Luck. 2 stars only for the hours of fun I had setting the Kameleon up.

Kameleon has been working fine for a few days now (Todays Date 27/08/10) with the Digihome DTR160 operating fine, perhaps a little better than with the original remote! The Sony BluRay is also operating fine. So far so good with the Kameleon which is proving to be very handy. One remote is much better than five on the coffee table! Pity the Kameleon was so complicated to set up for my gear. Otherwise not a bad gadget at all (so far).

The One "For All" Remote Control exceeds all expectations.With its clear and simple facia and ability to copy original features from other remotes to it,makes this item a very useful accessory indeed.I would heartily recommend this product unreservedly.Very easy to operate too

Great item, but found that two buttons on my old remote was missing on this remote, software glitch prevented input of the right codes, the only thing I could do was purchase a different unit put all codes into that one and then educate this remote using the magic set up, and now it works for everything, looks as if it came off " USS Enterprise" this is a great remote, I shall never go back to the standard remote you get with TVs and Stereo's

Too much time wasted looking for various controllers (down the back of sofas etc.) - I purchased this (on the strength of other reviews on here) and am delighted with the product. I use a Panasonic TV (about 15 years old!), a Toshiba DVD player, a Yamaha tuner (about 8 years old) and a Sky+ box - very simple to set up - just program in the code for each machine (in handbook provided) and off you go - took about 10 minutes. Works brilliantly, looks really good and very cheap.
